Aeternum explores the fluid nature of identity and memory through shifting, near-anonymous faces that echo the aesthetics of the Renaissance. Recognizable yet elusive, familiar yet untethered from any fixed time or person. By blurring the boundary between portraiture and abstraction, the work questions the permanence of identity and the way history distorts, erases, leaving a certain obscurity.
